We left White Bird, ID on Tuesday, July 7 and went to Lake Owyhee State Park near Nyssa, OR for two nights. It was a nice little state park with water and 30 amp electric for $44 per night.

I looked up what there was to do in Carson City and the State Railroad Museum and the Nevada State Museum came up. So we first went to the railroad museum.

I'd never seen a train car like this. The engine and car are all one piece, sort of like a trolley car.

This train and the first one piece run and you can ride them on the weekend. From there we went to the Nevada State Museum.

They have a 'mine' to walk through. A lot of the technology is more modern than the original way of doing things.
