Ocean Lakes Campground, Myrtle Beach, SC

Wednesday evening we all went to Villa Romana Italian restaurant for dinner to celebrate Jim's birthday. It was very good good and we had a great time.

Thursday morning everyone else left to go home. Later we went for a walk on the beach. It was the best weather day we've had since we've been here.  We have very much enjoyed looking out our windows and door and seeing the ocean.  Soon we will be heading home.

Stay tuned.

Ocean Lakes Campground, Myrtle Beach, SC

Arrived at the beach on Saturday to meet friends Jim & Vickie Fischer, George & Rosetta Person, and new friends Cleve  Debbie Pomranky. It was cloudy and then it rained Saturday and Sunday.  Sunday afternoon we all went to see the movie "12 Strong". It is based on a true story about 12 soldiers that go into Afghanistan soon after 9/11. It was a very good movie and I would recommend it. After the movie we met Steve & Carla Schenk at California Dreaming for dinner. Had a really nice time visiting with them.  I neglected to get pictures. Tuesday we went to Jim & Vickie's for lunch, after which Cleve brought out his guitar and gave us a mini concert.

I had heard about the blue moon/super moon/eclipse happening Wednesday morning and thought I would get up early for it since we're right on the beach, but found out we wouldn't be able to see much. I looked out the window this evening and saw the moon so had to take a couple of pictures.

Stay tuned.
